JOB DESCRIPTION—Weekend availability is required.
- Must be able to work every Saturday 8:30am - 6:15pm, and some weekday evenings until 8pm. We are open M,T 10-6, W-F 10-8, Sat 9-6
- Perform quality therapeutic bodywork that meets clients' needs including Enhancements: which will include essential oils, Muscle Care Products, massage lotion, sugar scrub, Theragun percussion instrument, salt stones, CBD.
- Be able to perform back-to-back massages (based on the information you provided upon hire).
- Active listening, evaluating client satisfaction
- Recommend follow up visit frequency.
- Customizing massage services within Massage Envy's policies, protocols, and approved modalities to craft truly personalized sessions, while taking into consideration any contraindications they may have.
- Help clients understand the benefits of regular massage
- Be able to effectively and concisely convey treatment findings and a return date.
WHAT ELSE THE JOB ENTAILS:
- Body Positioning for shift: mostly standing/bending and other body positions associated with massaging and modalities for the duration of your shift with some seated services.
- General cleaning, disinfecting, and dusting of treatment room, including trash removal. Changing table linens for each client.
- Safeguarding the client experience, maintaining client confidentiality, and upholding our commitment to safety.
- COMMUNICATION:
- Perform quality consultations with clients, use active listening, evaluating and identifying needs, contraindications, set clear expectations.
- Be able to effectively and concisely convey treatment findings and a return date for follow up care.
- Communication/discussions should be kept at a professional level and not discussing personal or inappropriate topics.
BASIC SKILLS NEEDED
- 18 years of age or older.
- Knowledge and structure of English language
