The Business Manager oversees the daily operations and overall performance of Massage Envy Lake Nona. This role is accountable for driving operational excellence across all key business functions.
The Business Manager fosters a high-performing, service-oriented culture that reflects Massage Envy’s core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency, and empathy.
Through effective leadership and strategic execution, this role promotes membership growth, wellness services, and at-home care solutions while ensuring an exceptional experience for every member and guest.

Qualified Candidates:
- Have a high school diploma, some college experience or (preferred) college degree
- Have a minimum of 3 years of management experience
- Have a passion for sales and a proven sales track record
- Have previous experience in a personal service environment such as a spa, salon, or gym
- Experience with office and POS systems, Microsoft Office, surmise and interpret data from reports
- Understands business financials, and developing KPIs, goals and targets, while implementing success strategies
- Massage Envy or industry experience is a PLUS, but not required
- Have experience with presenting information and strategies with management and in staff settings
- Are natural leaders who can build relationships while motivating, coaching and supporting a team
- Can have tough conversations in a professional and constructive manner
- Can create a strong workplace culture where all employees feel valued and recognized, issues are resolved quickly and fairly, and everyone feels connected to the mission
Essential Functions of Daily Operations
Manage all operational aspects including:
- Driving membership
- Promoting retail sales
- Ensuring compliance with all laws, licensing, insurance, and training requirements, including required background checks
- Managing deposits
- Adherence to the Code of Conduct, ensuring concerns are addressed and reported in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Responsible for inventory management, including usage, ordering and retail sales
- Hire, onboarding and training new staff
- Strive for continuous growth by setting goals, prioritizing work, analyzing business performance, and meeting monthly goals
- Coach, reward and motivate staff by holding staff meetings and providing regular feedback on results, service standards and performance
- Promote and embody Massage Envy's values, maintain a professional presence, positive attitude, and commitment to organizational excellence
- Confidentially and effectively resolve member and guest challenges while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
- Develop positive relationships and build confidence with staff, members, and guests
- Promote a safe, professional, and inviting environment through effective management of clinic appearance, supply inventory, and maintenance requests.
- Punctual to all scheduled shifts and dependable
- Proactive communication with Franchisee and responsive to and completing action plans timely
